I have followed LiveCode for a number of years and have attended only 1 conference personally and a few online.
I have always been impressed by the uses and applications that LiveCode users have created. LiveCloud and Appli are perfect examples of LiveCode User creativity. Although I have only one commercial application that I have made, I plan to create several others in the near future.
